Rachel Plummer

Biography

I am interested in how we orientate ourselves in landscapes and interiors - with maps, (land)marks and memory. I take inspiration both from my immediate mainly rural environment and the European cities I visit. I use painting as a radar for picking up the frequencies, disturbances and small intimacies of everyday exposure to place.
